Absolutely worth the visit
Loved every minute at Cannon Fort. The atmosphere is exactly what you imagine of Cat Ba. Get there early to beat the crowds.

Crowded but unforgettable
Yes it's busy, but Cannon Fort is busy for a reason. Stay 1, 2 hours, bring small cash, and try the local food nearby.

Better than expected
Honestly thought Cannon Fort would be a tourist trap, but it really delivered. Highlight of our days in Cat Ba.

Great for families
Took the kids to Cannon Fort and they loved it. Plenty of space, lots to see, and reasonable prices. Will come back.
