Arrived at sunrise, the light was unreal. Lovetravo's AI tipped me off to the side entrance with no queue. Saved 90 minutes.

Go early or late afternoon. The guided audio in Japanese was excellent. Loved the small museum on site.

Kids were entertained the whole time. The local guide we booked through Lovetravo made history come alive.

Stunning views, lots of stairs. Wear good shoes. The food stalls outside were a highlight.
